Frank Vitolo was hired as assistant men's lacrosse coach at C.W. Post in the summer of 2006. Vitolo spent from 2002-05 as an assistant coach with the New Jersey Pride of Major League Lacrosse. Prior to his stint in the professional ranks, Vitolo spent eight seasons (1995-02) as a coach at Division II Pace University, including a three-year stay as head coach from 2000-02. He led the Setters to a 26-16 record as head coach, and his team was ranked in the top-10 nationally during that time.

 

Before arriving at Pace, Vitolo spent 20 years as the head lacrosse coach at Lakeland (N.Y.) High School, where he accumulated more than 300 victories. A 1995 inductee into the Hudson Valley chapter of the Lacrosse Hall of Fame, he also coached the Hudson Valley entry of the 1990 Empire State Games to a gold medal finish.
