Men's Lacrosse Participates In First Annual Wishmaker Classic To Benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation
BROOKHAVEN, N.Y. (Oct. 20, 2008) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team participated in the first annual Wishmaker Fall Classic to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation hosted by Dowling College on Saturday.
The Pioneers played two games at the Classic, losing the first to Sacred Heart University, 10-5, before tying Dowling, 8-8.
C.W. Post, along with Dowling, Manhattan College and Sacred Heart raised over $4,000 dollars through tickets sales, 50/50 raffles, prize raffles, and concession sales for the cause.
