The Pioneers attempted an early score in their first series of the game when senior kicker

With just over two minutes remaining in the first, Georgetti completed a 29-yard pass to senior wide receiver

The Golden Bears scored in the second quarter at 10:25 when sophomore Matt Dineen kicked a 29-yard field goal to take a 3-0 lead.
The Pioneers answered with a 49-yard touchdown completion to
Cisco Ragsdale from Georgetti at 9:25. Kroell kicked the PAT to give C.W. Post a 7-3 lead.

In the fourth quarter, Kutztown's Dineen attempted a 43-yard field goal but the kick was blocked by junior defensive back Kristopher Barnes (Uniondale, N.Y.) and recovered by the Pioneers at the KU 22. C.W. Post advanced to the Golden Bears' 49 but was forced to punt.
The Pioneers later attempted another TD on 2nd-and-goal from the KU 4 but lost possession after Georgetti was sacked for a loss of six and fumbled the ball. Kutztown's Craig Moose recovered the ball from the KU 8 with 7:23 remaining in the fourth.
Junior running back Dontay Wilson took the handoff on 1st-and-10 from the KU 17 and broke for a 45-yard rush to the CWP 34. The next play resulted in a 34-yard completed pass from Martin to Jason Uhlig at 5:14. Martin completed another pass to Uhlig for the conversion that tied the game at 14.
On the kick return, Ragsdale returned the kick 43 yards to set up 1st-and-10 at the KU 44. The Pioneers lost yardage on a 10-yard penalty called for holding. C.W. Post could not make good on the next two downs and punted the ball.
On the next drive, Kutztown, starting from its own 16, pushed the ball downfield to the CWP 22, setting up for Martin's TD completion to Coleman.
