BROOKVILLE, NY (Nov. 25, 2008)- Collegeswimming.com released its latest dual meet national power rankings, placing C.W. Post in the 16^th slot out of 26 teams. The Pioneers are joined on the poll by fellow Metropolitan Conference rival, the University of Bridgeport Purple Knights, who are currently ranked in the 23^rd spot.

The recent rankings come after the Pioneers have taken a 3-2 start to their season. C.W. Post took down opponent Queens College in its home opener by a score of 107-86. Recently, the Pioneers fell to Southern Connecticut State University, 111-98, capturing wins in five out of 13 events. During C.W. Post's most recent conquest, the Pioneers were victorious in nine events during the USMMA invite. Senior Mariel Andersson (Barstad, Sweden) recorded two individual wins in the 100-yard and 200 backstroke.

The Pioneers are back in action as they travel to the University of Bridgeport on December 6, 2008.
