Men's Lacrosse Ranked Fifth In USILA Poll
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Apr. 14, 2008) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team is ranked fifth in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll (USILA).
LeMoyne College (9-0) remains the top team in the nation, receiving nine first place votes, followed by New York Institute of Technology (9-0), who received one first place nod. Limestone (10-0) was third, followed by Dowling College (9-1) and C.W. Post. Bryant University (9-3) was sixth this week followed by Mercyhurst College, who moved up three spots. Adelphi University is ranked eighth while Wingate College and Merrimack College are both tied for ninth.
Southern New Hampshire University and Notre Dam de Namur both received votes in the poll.
The Pioneers (8-3), who are also ranked third in the NCAA Division II Central Region poll, will play at ECC opponent Molloy College on Apr. 19 at 12 p.m.
