Men's Lacrosse Moves Up to Fourth In USILA Poll

BROOKVILLE, N.Y.  (Apr. 21, 2008) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team is ranked fourth in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll (USILA). 

LeMoyne College (11-0) remains the top team in the nation, receiving nine first place votes, followed by New York Institute of Technology (10-0), who received one first place nod. Bryant jumped three spots to third with an 11-3 record, followed by the Pioneers, who have a 9-3 record.  Limestone (11-1) fell to fifth, followed by Adelphi (6-4), who moved up two spots to sixth.   Mercyhurst College, Dowling, Merrimack College, and Belmont Abbey rounded out the top ten.  

Wingate University, Saint Anselm, and Notre Dam de Namur all received votes in the poll.

The Pioneers (9-3), who are also ranked third in the NCAA Division II Central Region poll, will host ECC opponent Dowling on Apr. 26 at 12 p.m.
