Wood, Giordano Receive ECC Weekly Honors

John Wood (Marblehead, N.Y.) was named this week's East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week freshman goalkeeper #
Michael Giordano# (Farmingdale, N.Y.) was named Goalkeeper of the Week.
Wood helped hold off No. 8 Dowling's offense in the closing minutes of a 9-8 victory. On defense, Wood caused two turnovers and picked up three ground balls.
Giordano earned his third win of the season with 12 saves in goal against Dowling.
C.W. Post (10-3, 3-2 ECC) will host its final home game against Dominican College on Saturday, Apr. 26 at 12 p.m.
