Men's Lacrosse Ranked Fourth In USILA Poll

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 9, 2008) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team is ranked fourth in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll (USILA), the organization announced Monday. 

The Pioneers are also ranked third in this week's NCAA Central region rankings.

LeMoyne College received eight first place votes and remains the top team, while New York Institute of Technology was second with one first place vote. 

Limestone College was third overall, followed by the Pioneers, and Dowling College rounds out the top five. 

Bryant, Adelphi, Merrimack College, Wingate College, and Mercyhurts, who the Pioneers will play on Sunday, comprise the rest of the top 10. 

Southern New Hampshire and Pace University both received votes in the poll. 

The Pioneers (8-2, 1-1 ECC) will travel to Mercyhurst for an ECC match-up starting at 12 noon on Saturday, April 12.
