Swimming Releases Schedule For Upcoming 2008-09 Campaign
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Jul. 11, 2008) – C.W. Post head women's swimming coach
Maureen Travers has released the schedule for the upcoming 2008 season.
The Pioneers will open the season on Oct. 4 in Washington D.C. in a tri-meet with Towson University and Howard University before returning to Brookville to host consecutive home meets against Queens College (Nov. 5) and Sacred Heart University (Nov. 8).
From there, C.W. Post will have tough competition in a dual meet at Southern Connecticut on Nov. 15. The Pioneers will compete at the United States Merchant Marine Academy Invite on Nov. 22 and will have a layoff in the schedule before resuming action with their final home meet of the season against East Stroudsburg University on Jan. 11.
C.W. Post will swim two dual meets at The College of New Jersey (Jan. 17) and Siena College (Jan. 31) before competing at the East Stroudsburg Invite (Feb. 7) and Metropolitan Championships (Feb. 20-22), to be held at Rutgers University.
The Pioneers will participate in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships between Feb. 27 and Mar. 1 in hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Championships in Houston, Texas (Mar. 11-14).
