Volleyball Tabbed Third In ECC Preseason Poll
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (August 20, 2008)- The East Coast Conference released its preseason volleyball poll and C.W. Post has been selected third in the nine-school field, as voted on by the coaches. Three-time regular season champion Dowling College was picked to repeat as conference champions.
Senior middle blocked Enobong Shammah of Queens College was named the ECC Volleyball Preseason Player of the Year.
Head coach Russi Villalta and the Pioneers competed in the NCAA Championship tournament for the second straight year and posted a 17-16 overall record and 7-3 clip in conference play in 2007.
