Softball Ranked 10th In First NFCA Poll Of The Year
STARKVILLE, Miss. (March 4, 2009) – The first National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll was released and C.W. Post is 10th out of 25 ranked teams, released Monday.
Angelo State (21-2) received 10 first place votes to lead the poll. Le Moyne, NYIT and Caldwell each received votes.
The Pioneers, who have been idle due to the cancelation of five games in the Catawba Tournament last weekend, will open their 2009 season in Kissimmee, Fla. against Georgia & State University in the first of 11 games at the Rebel Spring Games.
