Men's Lacrosse Stays Second In Latest USILA Poll

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 13, 2009) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team remained second in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) coaches poll. The Pioneers were 1-0 this week after a 13-7 defeat of Adelphi University.
LeMoyne College remained the top team with an undefeated 10-0 record. LeMoyne narrowly escaped with a 5-4 over conference foe Merrimack College. NYIT remained third while Molloy moved up one spot to fourth. Merrimack dropped one spot to fifth while Mercyhurst College was sixth. Bentley improved one spot to seventh while Limestone College and Dowling College tied for eight. Mars Hill University rounded out the poll.

C.W. Post (10-1, 3-0 ECC) climbed to the top spot in the East Coast Conference standings after its win over Adelphi. The Pioneers will host Mercyhurst College Saturday, April 18 at 12 p.m.
