Men's Lacrosse Moves Up In USILA Poll
BALTIMORE (April 6, 2009) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team moved up a spot to No. 2 in this week's USILA poll, released Monday afternoon. The Pioneers knocked off No. 1 New York Institute of Technology, 16-12, in a Saturday afternoon East Coast Conference clash on Hickox Field.
LeMoyne College moved into the top spot while NYIT dropped to third. Merrimack stayed fourth while Mercyhurst and Molloy tied for fifth. Mars Hill improved to seventh as Bentley dropped to eighth. Dowling and Seton Hill closed out the final two spots in the poll. Saint Leo, Limestone and Wingate each received votes.
C.W. Post (9-1, 2-0 ECC) will play at Adelphi University April 11 at 7 p.m.
