Men's Lacrosse Stays A Solid Second In USILA Poll
BALTIMORE (May 4, 2009) – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its weekly coaches poll and the C.W. Post men's lacrosse team was second overall after receiving one first-place vote.
LeMoyne College stayed atop the poll with seven first-place votes. Mercyhurst College moved up two spots from last week to third while New York Institute of Technology was fourth. Merrimack College dropped one spot to fifth while Limestone College and Molloy College tied for sixth.
Bentley College, Dowling College and Saint Leo University rounded out the poll. Mars Hill and Seton Hill received votes this week.
The Pioneers (13-1, 5-0 ECC) clinched the East Coast Conference title after defeating Dowling College, 15-8, Saturday afternoon.
