Football Tabbed Fourth In PSAC East Preseason Poll
KUTZTOWN, Pa. (August 3, 2009) – The C.W. Post football was picked to finish fourth in the 2009 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division preseason coaches poll, it was announced at the conference's annual Media Day held Monday afternoon on the campus of Kutztown University.
Bloomsburg University received five first-place votes as the leader atop the division followed by West Chester (2 first-place votes), East Stroudsburg (1 first-place vote), C.W. Post, Shippensburg, Kutztown, Millersville and Cheyney.
The Pioneers enter their second season in the PSAC after finishing sixth in the East Division last season with a 3-8 overall record and 2-5 clip in conference play.
C.W. Post opens its season at home against American International College on Aug. 29 at 1 p.m. on Hickox Field.
