Tennis Falls To Queens, 8-1, In Season Opener

FLUSHING, N.Y. (Sept. 16, 2009) – The C.W. Post tennis team opened the 2009 season with a 8-1 loss to Queens College in a non-conference contest played Wednesday afternoon.
 
Queens improves to 4-0 on the season while C.W. Post slips to 0-1. 
 
Junior Kristen Hetiler (East Rockaway, N.Y.) won her first match in No. 6 singles, defeating sophomore Giorgia Roiss (Bayside, N.Y.) for the Pioneers' only win of the day.
 
C.W. Post returns to action when it hosts St. Thomas Aquinas in its East Coast Conference opener on Thursday, Sept. 17.
