Men's Lacrosse First In Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Poll
BALTIMORE (Dec. 20, 2010) – C.W. Post men's lacrosse is the top team in the 2011 Lacrosse Magazine Division II Preseason poll, released on Monday.
The Pioneers, fresh off their title win against LeMoyne, were also picked first in Face-Off Magazine's recently released preseason poll.
LeMoyne garnered the second spot followed by (3) Mercyhurst, (4) Limestone and (5) Merrimack. East Coast Conference opponents, Dowling and NYIT, were sixth and seventh, respectively. Adelphi, Bentley and Queens (N.C.) rounded out the poll.
LeMoyne's Jack Harmatuk was selected Preseason Player of the Year.
C.W. Post opens the 2011 season on Feb. 17 against Notre Dame de Namur.
