Softball Moves To No. 17 In NFCA Poll

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (March 24, 2010) – The C.W. Post softball team moved up one spot to No. 17 in this week's NFCA coaches poll after posting  4-0 record with sweeps over Le Moyne College and American International College.
The Pioneers represent the only team from the East Coast Conference and are the highest ranked team in the NCAA east region. ECC opponent Molloy College received votes this week after posting a 7-3 record last week.
North Georgia remained the top team with an unblemished record of 27-0. 
The Pioneers (9-5) will host Queens College (3 p.m.) on Thursday and will close out the week hosting Southern New Hampshire (12 p.m.) and University of Massachusetts Lowell (12 p.m.) on Sunday.
