Softball Holds Onto No. 18 In This Week's NFCA Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (April 21, 2010) – The C.W. Post softball team remained No. 18 in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II national poll, released on Wednesday.
North Georgia received 16 first-place votes and remains the top team with a 45-0 overall record for the eighth straight week. C.W. Post opponent, New Haven, dropped one spot to No. 11 this week and Indiana (Pa.), Dowling and Molloy each received votes this week.
C.W. Post (33-9, 19-1 ECC) is also ranked second in the NCAA East Region poll, behind New Haven.
