Men's Lacrosse Remains Top Ranked Team In Division II
PERRY, N.Y. (April 5, 2010) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team remained the top team for the sixth straight week in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll.
The Pioneers took down then-No. 5 New York Institute of Technology, 13-11, Saturday afternoon to improve to 10-0 overall and 5-0 in the East Coast Conference.
LeMoyne College and Mercyhurst College are the only other remaining unbeaten teams and were ranked second and third, respectively.
Limestone College stayed fourth and Bentley University and Dowling College were tied for fifth. Queens University of Charlotte and NYIT were tied for seventh. Saint Leo University and Mars Hill rounded out the top 10 with Merrimack College receiving votes.
C.W. Post will host Dowling on Saturday, April 10 at 12 p.m. on Hickox Field.
