Softball Ranked No. 24 In This Week's NFCA Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (May, 12, 2010) – The C.W. Post softball team is ranked 24th in this week's NFCA coaches poll, released on Wednesday.
North Georgia stayed put at the No. 1 spot. The Pioneers are one of two teams ranked from the East Coast Conference as Dowling climbed to No. 20 in the poll. Molloy College received votes this week.
The Pioneers finished their regular season with a 40-14 overall record, including a 25-3 mark in the East Coast Conference, and qualified for their ninth straight NCAA Tournament. They will face Molloy in the first contest of the East Regional at host Dowling College's Brookhaven Athletic Complex.
