Cama Repeats As USILA Specialty Player Of The Year

PERRY, N.Y. (May 29, 2010) – Senior midfielder Mike Cama (Levittown, N.Y.) of the C.W. Post men's lacrosse team was named the USILA Division II Specialty Player of the Year, the organization announced. This marks the second straight year that Cama has received this distinction.
 
Cama, a two-time All-ECC selection and USILA All-American, leads the nation on face-off win percentage (.713) and ground balls (184).  He was a perfect 15-for-15 on face-offs in a game against Bentley this season.
 
C.W. Post (15-1, 9-1 ECC) won the East Coast Conference regular season champion and will be playing against LeMoyne College in the NCAA championship game Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. at M & T Bank Stadium.
 
In other Athletic Department news, registration is still open for the C.W. Post Pioneer Sports Academy, a new summer athletic camp for children ages 7 to 17. C.W. Post's NCAA Division II varsity coaches will instruct participants in boys' lacrosse, baseball, football and basketball and girls' lacrosse, softball, basketball and field hockey. Each individual camp will be held over a one-week period, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at a cost of $450. Children will be grouped by age, skill level and experience.
