Men's Lacrosse Jumps To Second In USILA Poll
PERRY, N.Y. (May 3, 2010) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team jumped to No. 2 in this week's USILA coaches poll after an 11-9 win over then-No. 2 Mercyhurst College on Saturday.
The Pioneers jumped three spots from fifth with the win and are tied with Dowling, who moved up one spot from third. Limestone and Mercyhurst tied for fourth and neighboring NYIT was sixth this week. Merrimack and Bentley each fell one spot to seventh and eighth, respectively and Saint Leo and Queens stayed at ninth and tenth. Adelphi and Seton Hill each received votes in the poll this week.
C.W. Post (13-1, 8-1 ECC) closes out the regular season at home against Lake Erie on Sunday, May 9 at 1 p.m.
