Cama Selected To Play In MLL Warrior Challenge
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (June 4, 2010) – Senior midfielder Mike Cama (Levittown, N.Y.) of the NCAA champion C.W. Post men's lacrosse team was selected to the Major League Lacrosse All-Star team and will play against the current USA national team on June 6 at Yale University in the Major League Lacrosse Warrior Challenge.
Cama, who is the only non-Division I player on the roster, led the nation in ground balls per game (11.35) and was chosen as the USILA Specialty Player of the Year. Cama won 15 of 26 face-off attempts in the championship match against LeMoyne and added a goal in the 14-9 win over the Dolphins.
C.W. Post finished its season with a 16-1 overall record, the most wins in program history.
