National Champion Men's Lacrosse Receives Rings
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 18, 2010) – The 2010 C.W. Post men's lacrosse team received its championship rings and was honored by the C.W. Post administration for its second-straight NCAA national title Saturday morning in the Pratt Recreation Center gymnasium.
Head coach John Jez and members of the team gathered as C.W. Post Provost Paul Forestell and Director of Athletics Bryan Collins along with Associate Athletic Director Shantey Hill were on hand to help commemorate the championship.
The Pioneers defeated LeMoyne College, 14-9, in a repeat match from the 2009 title game on May 30, 2010 at M & T Bank Stadium. The Pioneers boasted six USILA All-Americans, including Position Player of the Year (Mike Cama), two ECAC All-Stars and seven East Coast Conference selections.
