Manchester, N.H. (Sept. 28) – Freshman midfielder Joakim Ohlson (Lund, Sweden) scored the game winner for the Pioneers in the 83rd minute of play to give C.W. Post a non-conference triumph over Saint Anselm, 1-0, on Melucci Field on Tuesday afternoon.

C.W. Post improves to 3-4-1 overall (1-1 ECC), while the Hawks fall to 1-6-1 overall (1-3-1 NE-10) with the loss.

The first half was scoreless the entire way through, as Eric Moriarty (Center Harbor, N.H.)made six saves for the Hawks, and #Marco Jorgensen# (Copenhagen, Denmark) made five saves for the Pioneers.

The second half was much of the same, and it seemed as if maybe the Pioneers were destined for their fourth straight overtime contest until Ohlson placed the ball just out of Moriarty's reach on a shot to the left side of the goal.

C.W. Post will take on Bridgeport in an important East Coast Conference game on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 2:30 p.m.
