O'Connor Named This Week's PSAC East Defensive Player Of The Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Sept. 6, 2010) – Junior inside linebacker Billy O'Connor (Sayville, N.Y.) was named this week's PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in C.W. Post's win 20-11 win over American International on Saturday.
O'Connor led the C.W. Post defense that held AIC to just 85 rushing yards by making 12 tackles, including eight solo stops, in a 20-11 win for the Pioneers over the Yellow Jackets. His efforts helped C.W. Post hold AIC, which had scored a total of 66 points against the Pioneers in the last two season openers, to just 11 points and 283 yards of total offense to pick up their first win against the Yellow Jackets since 2006.
