Swimming Completes Competition at the ECAC Event in Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH, PA. (February 28, 2011) – Competing against many of the top swimming squads in the region, the C.W. Post Pioneer women swimming team swam well in a competitive field, finishing 19th out of 22 teams at the ECAC event this past weekend.
During the 200 Breaststroke, Chelcee Hew (Savage, Minn.) finished 12th among swimmers with a time 2:24.29. Hew improved her finishing time by a little over two seconds from what she finished during preliminaries.
Next up for the Pioneers will be the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Palo Alto, Texas. The event will take place during the days from March 9-12.
