Softball Ranked Second In NCAA East Region; Receives Votes In NFCA Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (April 14, 2011) – The C.W. Post softball team received votes for the third straight week in NFCA national poll and is ranked second in this week's NCAA East Region poll.
Also representing the ECC in the east regional poll is Dowling, who is also ranked 14th in the NFCA poll, as well as No. 3 Molloy and No. 6 Queens. C.W. Post received 24 votes in the NFCA poll while Molloy received six votes.
The Pioneers (22-8, 10-4 ECC) were 5-3 last week that included sweeps against Bridgeport and Queens.
