Softball Gains Ground In This Week's NFCA Top 25 Voting

STARKVILLE, Miss. (April 20, 2011) – The C.W. Post softball team received 46 votes in this week's NFCA softball poll, falling just three votes shy of cracking the top 25 poll.
 
The Pioneers were 4-0 last week with East Coast Conference sweeps against NYIT and St. Thomas Aquinas and improved their overall record to 28-8 overall and 10-4 in conference play.
 
Alabama-Huntsville remained at the top of the poll from last week. ECC member Dowling moved up four spots to tie for eighth with Lenoir-Rhyne. Molloy also received votes this week.
 
C.W. Post will host NYIT on Thursday, April 21 at 3 p.m. at the Softball Complex.
