Hagenah And Bright Recognized To Daktronics Inc. All-America Teams

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (May 27, 2011) Freshman third baseman Nicole Hagenah (Commack, N.Y.) and junior second baseman Kendall Bright (Manlius, N.Y.) of the No. 25 C.W. Post softball team were both recognized to Daktronics Inc. All-America teams. Hagenah was voted Second Team while Bright earned Third Team honors.
 
Hagenah, who is batting .460 at the plate with a .791 slugging percentage and has knocked in 61 runs on 75 hits, including 14 home runs and 12 doubles.  She clubbed her 14th home run of the season in a 4-2 win over Merrimack College in the NCAA East Super Region.  Hagenah was an ECC First Team selection and was voted the Rookie of the Year by the league's coaches. 
 
Bright, who was also an ECC First Team selection, is second in hitting with a .360 average and has driven in 58 runs on 62 hits, including 12 home runs and 15 doubles.
