Four Pioneers Recognized To PSAC East Football All-Conference Teams

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Nov. 13, 2012) – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its football All-Conference squads on Tuesday.  Senior defensive back Antonio Powell-Fields (Hempstead, N.Y.) was recognized to the First Team Defense while junior linebacker Rob Bright (East Meadow, N.Y.) was named Second Team Defense.  Senior wide receiver Grayson Laurino (Boise, Idaho) and senior offensive linemen Chris Williams (Syosset, N.Y.) were both named Second Team Offense.   

Powell-Fields made 68 tackles on defense and recorded two interceptions, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one recovery. 

Laurino has played numerous positions this season, including wide receiver, punter, quarterback and receiver.  As a receiver, he has caught 35 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns.  He is averaging 39.6 yards per punt and has recorded 54 for 2,139 yards this season.

Williams has started all nine games this season on the offensive line.

Bright currently leads the Pioneers with 75 tackles and has also registered two break-ups, two forced fumbles and blocked a kick at Shippensburg earlier this season.

LIU Post concludes its 2012 season on Saturday in a rescheduled contest at Kutztown University.
