BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (July 10, 2012) Former C.W. Post men's basketball standout Aaron Hall '11 recently finished playing the 2011-12 season overseas with the SBL Becks of the Mongolian League in China.

Hall had an outstanding season, leading the Becks with 24.7 points per game.  He also pulled down 10.6 rebounds per game, 1.9 assists per game, and 2.6 steals per game.  The 6'3 guard was an All-Star selection and the Becks' regular season MVP in addition to leading the team in scoring.  The Becks earned a spot in the playoffs, but lost in the first round.

Hall spent two seasons with the Pioneers, twice earning All-ECC accolades as well as ECAC Second Team kudos following his senior season.  During his season, he averaged 14.1 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game, and also reached the 1,000th point career mark, scoring nearly 800 of those points in a Pioneer uniform.

“Asia was a great experience,” said Hall.  “It's a culture shock.  It's really a whole new world that you are in and not accustomed to. My team was new from the development league and moved up this year. So they expected me to pull a lot of weight during games. The type of American players were good, college players from IUPUI, Ole Miss, San Francisco University, Nebraska, and I was the only Division II player.”
