KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Nov. 5, 2013) - On Tuesday, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America released its Division II Top-25 Men's Soccer Poll, and LIU Post rose one spot to 14th. The Pioneers finished up their regular season with a 1-0-1 week.

Pulling its first loss of the season, former No. 1 Rollins dropped to third with Young Harris and Simon Fraser jumping the Tars to take the first and second spots, respectively. Notre Dame (Ohio) and Post each moved up one to fourth and fifth, rounding out the Top-5.

After not being rated last week, West Texas A&M surprised, and leapt into the 12th spot, sporting a 12-3-1 record.

The green and gold closed out the regular season on the road with a 2-2 tie at UDC and a nail-biting 1-0 win over Queens. Freshman forward Johann Kristjansson (Reykjavik, Iceland) drew first blood against the Firebirds on Wednesday (Oct. 30), and tallied the only goal, a game-winner, on Saturday (Nov. 2) against the Knights.

The Pioneers are back to the pitch on Wednesday (Nov. 6), when they host Mercy in an East Coast Conference Championship semifinal match-up. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
