Softball Will Play In Support Of "Score For The Cure" Sunday Against Molloy
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 20, 2012) – The LIU Post softball team will be collecting donations during Sunday's doubleheader against Molloy in support of “Score For A Cure” to fight against Multiple Sclerosis.
Fans in attendance can pledge small donations (25, 50, 75 cents or more) for every run scored by both teams during the games. All of the money collected will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
More than 400,000 people are living with the disease and more than 200 people are diagnosed every week. Worldwide, it has affected more than 2.1 million people.
