BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 30, 2013) – After an inspirational win over ECC and Long Island Rival Molloy on Saturday, the Pioneers remained at No. 5 in this week's USILA Poll.
Saturday's game was part of a fundraiser held during the day as both Molloy and LIU Post supported “
Team Connor.”
With the win over Molloy, the Pioneers improved to 10-2 overall and kept a perfect 6-0 record in ECC play. Senior
Chris Ruhlig (Islip Terrace, N.Y.) and grad student
Joe Costello (Minneapolis, Minn.) both scored four goals to power LIU Post to a 15-11 win over the Lions.
