Bradley, Slane Earn ECC Weekly Honors 5/7/2013 11:22:00 AM CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (May 7, 2013) – LIU Post men's lacrosse goalkeeper Tim Bradley (Wantagh, N.Y.) has been selected as the ECC Goalkeeper of the week and freshman attacker Ryan Slane (North Babylon, N.Y.) has selected as the ECC Rookie of the Week. Bradley earned the win in goal in a 17-5 win over Chestnut Hill on Sunday. He made 12 saves and allowed only five goals in 54:34 minutes of action to post a .706 save percentage and a 5.5 goals against average. Slane notched a game-high six points as he scored two goals and passed out four assists to lead the Pioneers past Chestnut Hill, 17-5. He also picked up seven ground balls and was very efficient with his shots and he took three, and two went for goals, including one man-up. The Pioneers lacrosse team earned its 12th NCAA bid on Sunday as the No. 2 seed in the North Region. LIU Post (11-2) will host No. 3 Le Moyne (15-2) on May 11. Print Friendly Version
