Softball Ranked No. 13 In Final NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll 5/8/2013 1:02:00 PM LOUISVILLE, K.Y. (May 8, 2013) – The LIU Post softball team has moved up one spot in the final National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) poll to No. 13. The Pioneers finished the regular season with an overall record of 44-11, earning them the No. 1 seed going into the East Coast Conference Championship tournament, where they fell one win shy of capturing the ECC crown. On Monday, the Pioneers were selected at the No. 1 seed in the NCAA East Regional and will play host to No. 4 University of New Haven, No. 5 Adelphi and No. 8 Dominican. The Pioneers will play Dominican in the first game of the regional at 1 p.m. on Friday.
