CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 10, 2014) - On Monday, the East Coast Conference revealed its year-end award recipients for 2014, and senior forward Eivind Austboe (Stavanger, Norway) and freshman forward Jason Lampkin (Hawardon, North Wales, U.K.) were among those honored.

Austboe was named the ECC Offensive Player of the Year for the second-consecutive season. He led the league with 15 goals and five game-winners. The Stavanger, Norway native also added two assists to finish atop the conference leaderboard with 32 points. Austboe finds his name among the nation's elite as well. During the regular season, he ranked in the Top-20 in all of Division II in points per game (13th – 2.13), points (18th), goals per game (eighth – 1.0), goals (11th), and game-winning goals (11th).

Austboe wasn't alone when it came to getting the Pioneers on the scoreboard this year, as Lampkin took home the ECC Rookie of the Year honor. In 14 games, Lampkin found the back of the net four times and dished off four assists to compile 12 points, finishing in the Top-20 in the conference in all three categories.

In addition to the individual awards, LIU Post also placed junior midfielder Per Forgaard (Stavanger, Norway), alongside Austboe, on the All-ECC first-team.

Lampkin was joined by junior midfielder Matias Ruiz (Southampton, N.Y.) and freshman back David Arvidsson (Gothenburg, Sweden) on the All-ECC second-team.

The Pioneers now await their seeding in the upcoming NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship. The selection show starts tonight at 7 p.m. on NCAA.com.
