NCAA Official Release

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Nov. 10, 2014) - The LIU Post men's soccer team has received the No. 5 seed in Super Region One of the 2014 NCAA Division II Championship, as revealed in a selection show on NCAA.com Monday evening.

The Pioneers (14-4-1) will travel to Manchester, N.H., where they will take on East Coast Conference rival and fourth-seeded NYIT (14-2-1) in first-round action on Thursday (Nov. 13). The winner of that contest will then face No. 1 seed and reigning national champion Southern New Hampshire.

LIU Post is coming off a 1-0 loss to NYIT in the ECC Championship last Saturday (Nov. 8).
