CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 3, 2014) - After recording seven points in two wins last week, LIU Post men's soccer sophomore forward Johann Kristjansson (Reykjavik, Iceland) was named the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
 
Kristjansson recorded three goals and an assist, as LIU Post beat Roberts Wesleyan, 6-0, on Friday (Oct. 31) and Daemen, 5-0, on Sunday (Nov. 2).
 
The sophomore scored twice at Roberts Wesleyan and added a goal and an assist at Daemen.
 
Kristjansson and the Pioneers are back in action on Thursday (Nov. 6), when they host Dowling in the semifinals of the ECC Men's Soccer Championship. The opening kick is slated for 1:30 p.m. from Pioneer Soccer Park.
