KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Nov. 5, 2014)
 - The LIU Post men's soccer team has returned to the top-25 of the NSCAA rankings for the first time since being ranked eighth by the soccer governing body in the preseason.

The Pioneers (13-3-1, 8-1-1 ECC) are slated as the No. 22 team in the country, one of four teams to make the leap inside this week's edition of the poll. The green and gold have been on a tear as of late, winning nine straight games and being unbeaten in their last ten contests. Senior forward Eivind Austboe (Stavanger, Norway) is leading the Pioneers with a conference-best 15 goals and 32 points on the season. Austboe is also eighth in the nation, averaging a goal per game and ranks in the top-15 nationally with a 2.13 points per game average.

The three remaining unbeaten teams in all of NCAA Division II men's soccer top the poll this week. Charleston (15-0-1) headlines the rankings, with Young Harris (14-0-1) and Quincy (17-0-2) following closely behind. Lynn and Seattle Pacific round out the top-5.

LIU Post is the second-seed in the upcoming ECC Tournament. They will host third-ranked Dowling on Thursday (Nov. 6) at Pioneer Soccer Park. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
