Softball Cracks Top-10 in First NFCA Regular Season Poll
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 19, 2014) - In the first NFCA Division II regular-season poll of 2014, the LIU Post softball team climbed one rung to No. 10. The Pioneers, who were ranked 11th in the preseason ledger, earned 232 points.
Humboldt State (12-1) continued its national resurgence by ascending to No. 1 after receiving seven of a possible 16 first-place votes. West Texas A&M (11-0) remained second. The Lady Buffs earned more first-place nods (eight), but fell eight points shy of the top spot.
