Football Announces 2014 National Letter of Intent Signees
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Feb. 5, 2014) - On Wednesday, Head Coach
Bryan Collins (Sayville, N.Y.) announced the names of 11 players who were signed by LIU Post to National Letters of Intent. The group, consisting of nine New York and two New Jersey high school football athletes, will suit up for the Pioneers in 2014.
"It is an exciting time to recruit at LIU Post, as our new stadium is being built," said Collins. "There has been a change in administration, and a new branding around the metropolitan area. This class of 11 signings is nowhere near the end of the recruiting process." He later added: "These were recruits we had early because of prospect camps and watching them play. They addressed needs, but our philosophy is to get the best student-athletes available that will best represent LIU Post in the community, classroom, and on the football field."
