CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Sept. 15, 2014) - After scoring three goals in two games last week, LIU Post junior midfielder Per Forgaard (Stavanger, Norway) has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, announced Monday.
 
Forgaard tallied six points in the Pioneers' two matches last week. He found the back of the net against Merrimack in LIU Post's 3-2 double-overtime loss, and came back with a pair of markers on Saturday (Sept. 13), as the green and gold handled Bloomfield, 3-0.
 
Forgaard and the Pioneers are back in action on Wednesday (Sept. 17), when they host Millersville in a non-conference battle in Brookville, N.Y. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
