CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Sept. 29, 2014) - LIU Post men's soccer freshman Jason Lampkin (Hawardon, North Wales, United Kingdom) has been named the East Coast Conference's Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Lampkin tallied five points in the Pioneers' 5-4 loss to Molloy on Wednesday (Sept. 24). The freshman scored twice and added an assist on another marker. Thus far, Lampkin ranks fifth in the ECC with 11 points, while his four goals are sixth-best in the conference.

Lampkin and the Pioneers return to action on Wednesday (Oct. 1), when they host UDC in an ECC battle. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
