Williams Receives ECC Rookie of the Week Honors

Talya Williams (Schenectady, N.Y.) was tabbed the East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week on Monday.
It is the third time in as many weeks that she has garnered recognition from the league. At the meet, Williams crossed the finish line first over all 141 female runners in 18:57, and led the Pioneers to a fourth-place showing.
LIU Post is back in action Saturday (Oct. 4) in Jersey City, N.J., where it will race in the NJIT Highlander Challenge.
