KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Nov. 10, 2015) - The LIU Post men's soccer team closed out the regular season as the No. 12 team in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division II Top-25 Poll, it was released Tuesday.

The Pioneers currently boast an overall record of 14-2-2 and an East Coast Conference ledger of 9-1. The green and gold has gone 8-1-1 in their last 10 contests, outscoring their opponents 43-15 in the process.

In its last match, LIU Post defeated New York Institute of Technology, 3-0, to capture the ECC title. Senior midfielder Per Forgaard (Stavanger, Norway) netted two tallies to earn the tournament's Most Outstanding Player Award.

Head Coach Andreas Lindberg and the Pioneers return to action Saturday (Nov. 14), when they host either Adelphi University or Wilmington University in an NCAA Division II Championship second-round showdown at 1 p.m. at Pioneer Soccer Park in Brookville, N.Y.
