KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 30, 2015) - LIU Post Head Men's Soccer Coach Andreas Lindberg has been named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America East Region Coach of the Year for the second-straight season, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Lindberg, the 2015 East Coast Conference Coach of the Year, led the Pioneers to their second-straight NCAA Division II East Region title, after knocking off No. 3 Southern New Hampshire University in penalty kicks, 5-4, on Nov. 19.

Lindberg has claimed ECC Coach of the Year recognition in four of the past five seasons, and guided his team to three conference titles in the last four years.

Since arriving at LIU Post, Lindberg, the program's all-time winningest coach, has accumlated an overall record of 103-28-12. He is also the first coach in the team's history to reach the 100-win milestone.
