Softball to Play For Make-A-Wish on Sunday
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Apr. 10, 2015) - On Sunday, Apr. 12, the LIU Post softball team will be raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, in conjunction with its 11 a.m. doubleheader against East Coast Conference rival Dowling.
The Pioneers are currently selling Make-A-Wish stars and accepting donations for the foundation, whose mission is to grant the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatning medical condition in the United States and its territories. On average, wishes are granted every 38 minutes by the organization.

Aly Dzierzynski (Deer Park, N.Y.). "It's amazing to be able to help a charity that helped me when I was diagnosed with cancer."
